DRIVER (Lubumbashi)

Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is a Sales Unit based in Lubumbashi, within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, a Business Area, a leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and support for the mining industry. We also provide solutions and knowledge in a wide range of applications such as rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunnelling and quarrying.

Your mission

As a Sandvik driver, you can operate trucks, vans or similar vehicles in industrial and residential areas to pick up and deliver product supplies and equipment to and from the organisation’s sites, suppliers and customers. Actions may involve complex pickups and deliveries, e.g., night deliveries, transportation of hazardous products. You also ensure the vehicle is always clean, fueled, and ready for use.

Your profile

We are looking for a Congolese citizen with a diploma and comprehensive background in a similar role within logistics. You have proven drive and competence in a mining environment, and are a holder of a minimum driving license class C.

To be successful in this role, you need good knowledge of safe and best practices on the road and loading-offloading procedures. You are also able to communicate both in English and French.
